Since I'm a DVD buff, I decided to make a thread where we can just talk about the various releases of Dawn of the Dead. I'll probably make a similar one about Night & Day as well. I scanned my 20th Anniversary Dawn of the Dead DVD that I received in the mail the other day. It's pretty neat to own because I remember wanting this badly not too long after it came out. A friend of mine had a copy but he wouldn't get rid of it to me. I can't remember what he did with it. For awhile, this was really had to find. Nowadays, you can get it for about $10 on Amazon or Ebay. Not much of a reason to own it due to the Ultimate Edition of Dawn of the Dead unless you're a collector like me. Or if you want to watch a grainier DVD of Dawn of the Dead. Anyway, here are the scans(I'm just going to post the links since I don't want to stretch the page out here): Front & back covers: i30.photobucket.com/albums/c332/albadeimorti/3982e8fa.jpgInsert(mini poster side): i30.photobucket.com/albums/c332/albadeimorti/d229e6f8.jpgInsert(chapter selection side): i30.photobucket.com/albums/c332/albadeimorti/1edd333f.jpgDisc: i30.photobucket.com/albums/c332/albadeimorti/4572a333.jpgHope you enjoy these! I love the artwork on the mini poster insert. I will scan both the regular & gold-foiled Divimax versions one of these days. I'll probably look elsewhere for scans of the Ultimate Edition since it's harder to scan box sets.

Very cool stuff Flyboy! I really dig seeing this stuff. It's definitely NOT a waste.
I own a VHS copy of Dawn that has that mini poster insert as the cover. It's an awesome VHS.

Thanks man. I'm glad I'm not doing this for nothing. I love discussing DVDs & older releases, especially when it comes to movies I love. That sounds cool. It'd be nice to have a VHS with that cover. I have a copy of Dawn on VHS. It's the older HBO Video version. I'll have to scan the covers sometime & post 'em.

I love that menu screen. That's one gripe with the Ultimate Edition, the menu's are rather bland. I almost bought the "Zombi" version the other day. Love that DVD art. Wonder if anyone has it, if so, is the disc the same as the one that comes with the Ultimate Edition?

I don't have it but I'm sure I'll eventually pick up a copy.
I know the Divimax Special Edition from 2004 is basically the same disc as the US Theatrical in the Ultimate Edition. The only difference is the disc art.

Menu shots from the 2004 Divimax Special Edition: I didn't take menu shots of each special feature because I didn't really feel like it. Haha.

I also own that 2004 Divimax Special Edition. I always laugh when I see how that scene is called "Ghetto Holocaust". Sounds like a rap album.

Ghetto Holocaust by Poppin' Pete Washington
I love the picture they use for that chapter. Haha.
Also, I'm almost 100% positive that the menu for the US Theatrical version from the Ultimate Edition is the exact same from the Divimax version. I'm also almost 100% positive that they're the exact same disc but with different disc art. I think I mentioned that somewhere already. My memory is sucking nowadays.

My girlfriend gave it to me after I gave her a copy of the 2004 Divimax DVD. Her mom bought it at a library sale.
