I have that one too. It's definitely the definitive Day DVD despite some audio flubs. It's also one of the DVDs I've owned for the longest. I've had it since pretty much the day it was released. Thats pretty cool ;D i have the trilogy of the dead version and the 2disc uk version that was released last year,also got the 2 disc american version on my pc 2,i had the big box vhs years ago and then bought a smaller boxed entertainment in video vhs,got the 3 disc making of day from ebay last year,its tom savinis home videos,really good stuff showing every effect in the movie,ill try n get some pics.

The 1998 AB menus just scream late 90's. I have many DVD's that just have "that look" about them.

Finally bought a new DVD of this tonight (along with a Dawn/Land "director's cut" combo). Got the generic Divimax widescreen version for $12 at FYE tonight, burning up the last of a gift card.  |

Is it just the one disc version? If so, it's basically just the first disc of the 2-disc Divimax special edition from 2003.

Found this on youtube,its DAY special features on the uk dvd i have,someone had uploaded all the special features,im giving the link at the bottom for part 8,the 1st 7 parts are the making of day but from part 8 onwards its day a retrospective kinnda thing where the actors looks back on how day was made,some really good scenes in this,enjoy. uk.youtube.com/watch?v=aIcDdF3e3XU |

Now as for the Dawn special features disc... that's a whole nother story The weird thing is that I've watched the special features on the Day disc more than the Dawn special features. I recommend the 2 disc version of Day. It's really not that expensive on Amazon. Well, when I checked last anyway. |
