TBH when I first saw the leaked pics for it I was thinking "meh". Woody Just seemed mismatched as a zombie killer and when I saw him posing next to the kids, I just thought "crap. he's going to be alongside abigail breslin and some angsty teenagers. Not looking good." However, I saw the preview for it last night on youtube, and it looks effin' sweet! Certainly sounds like an entertaining zombie action romp, but it isn't likely to be released in Oz till 3rd December 09. GODDAMN!

It now has an 8.6 on IMDb & is ranked #116. There's no doubt in my mind that it's going to be a fun movie but isn't that a bit too high of a rating? But then again, IMDb does have quite a bit of trolls & retards lurking around those parts.

But then again, IMDb does have quite a bit of trolls & retards lurking around those parts. That usually tends to happen with a new movie thats popular, a lot of people give it a 10 based on nothing other then their enjoyment of it, but give it a few months, and it should even out a bit. It happened with the Dark Knight, was at Number 1 upon its release then it dropped down (to number 9-currently).

I remember that with TDK. While I love the movie & thought it was great, I really wouldn't put it number one on IMDb. I do think it deserves a high rank though because it really is a damn good movie. I need to watch it again.
Zombieland is down to an 8.5 & ranked #115. Haha. I think it should trade ratings with Dawn of the Dead. It has an 8.0 but isn't ranked. It should be though!

Saw this today, and I must say that is was FANTASTIC.
I was excited going in, but I had no idea for the treat that I was about to witness. Woody Harrelson is fabulous and instantly likable, and there's a not-so-secret cameo that had me giddy as a schoolgirl (I won't ruin it for those of you who don't know what I'm talking about).
A freakin +.

I'm excited to see this. Is it the next Shaun of the Dead?

It's not as great as Shaun of the Dead, but it's in the same horror/comedy vein. It stands on its own two feet pretty well.

Finally saw it. Awesome Movie Loved it A+ Whilst not as funny as Shaun of the Dead, it was definitely more action packed. I always give a zombie movie more credit whenever they don't bother with the whole "Never heard of Zombies in this universe, so will have to reveal their weakness through a news report or wasting a lot of ammunition before a stray round makes a headshot." I thought all actors involved did a pretty good job, particularly Woody Harrelson. And that celebrity cameo was classic I did have a few qualms about it though but they were mostly cosmetic i.e. how they didn't have to bother about keeping a low profile in a zombie infested town for fear of drawing hordes of zombies to their location and could make as much noise and put on as many lights as they wanted. That was settled though when they get to the Fair and all the lights and noise draw in hordes of zombies to the their location, but other then those superficial qualms I had, it was a very entertaining Zombie flick.

Got this the other night as an early birthday gift & just finished watching it. Loved every second of it. A fun movie from start to finish. Harrelson was hilarious & an absolute bad-ass but I don't really expect anything less from him. He's an actor I've always been a huge fan of. Eisenberg was quite likeable & funny himself as well.
My favorite scene was when they went to Bill Murray's house. I was roaring with laughter the entire time, especially at painting of him from Stripes on the wall. And why the fuck didn't he & Harrelson discuss Kingpin!?

Fantastic. I was really hoping they would make one and glad that they're already writing the script. The 3d aspect should be interesting, but I just hope Abigail Breslin and the chick don't get as much screen time for the next round. The interaction between Tallahassee and Columbus is what made the 1st one great, we need more of that
