My favourite Tom Atkins movie. Slugs from outer space incubate inside peoples' brains making them zombies. It's a perfect mix of the comedy, zombie, slasher, & sci-fi genres. It works so well. It's a straight up B-Movie & it knows it. Never a dull moment in this film. A movie that many want out on DVD(me included). I think now that The Monster Squad is out on DVD in that Night of the Creeps will eventually get a release in the next few years. "Thrill me."

I love this movie, because it was done so tongue in cheek. This movie never really asks you to buy anything since your too busy laughing most of the time. I've always thought this was one of the funniest comedies of the 80s that just happened to have zombies in it.

The dog scene at the end was hilarious, just when you think the zombies are gone... you were wrong.

I prefer the alternate ending. Fred Dekker preferred that one over the theatrical.

Another one I watched the other day On Demand, and glad I did. I haven't seen this since the late '80s (maybe even since it was in the theater).
As Flyboy said, it's a B-movie and it knows it. Not only that, but the way it pays homage to so many other B-movies is just plain awesome. Well worth watching again so I can try to pick out the little bits.

I've been meaning to see this but have had trouble locating a copy locally. I've heard Slither is pretty much a rip-off of Night of the Creeps.

Slither rips off this (to a minor degree), but it also rips off Squirm and Slugs (which someone here mentioned the other day).

I would love to see this, but as Flyboy says above, it's not on disc. I will have to score a VHS somewhere.
I miss VHS so much that I almost bought a new VHS/DVD combo. My DVD player died the other day so I'm on the hunt to find one that is multi region. The Kmart by me only had demo's out, so I couldn't check the boxes, and in Kmart fashion there was not a single employee to be found.

I'd say that Slither is a minor rip off of this but is actually a pretty good movie. I thought Slither was going to be absolute shit when I saw it but I ended up really enjoying it. I like James Gunn too. Seems like a cool dude. His PG Porn short videos are hilarious.

Flyboy, I didn't know that the bootleg was ripped off of a Laserdisc. Pretty cool.
