According to several websites (such as www.horror-movies.ca/horror_16448.html), Survival of the Dead has been picked up for distribution in several countries worldwide... MINUS the United States. Could this be a potential problem for those of us in the U.S.? I mean how can Saudi Arabia and Thailand get distribution deals before the United States? I'm confident this won't be an issue at all and that the U.S. will secure a deal soon (if not already). But will we get it later than the rest of the world? Or an edited version? Only time will tell.

Figures.
Oh well. If it gets distributed in other countries first, someone will probably bootleg it. I'll see it that way first if I have to then I'll get the DVD once it's out here.

Hopefully it will hit theaters in the US. Probably it will but only a limited release.

Hopefully it will hit theaters in the US. Probably it will but only a limited release. I'm bummed out. The last dead film to open in Buffalo Ny was Land of the dead

I would love to see this in the theatres in Australia, but likely I think it'll go the way of Diary and just come out eventually on DVD here about a year later

I hope it gets a good theatrical run here too. I think it played in very few theaters then came out on DVD. I'd actually like to see this one in theaters.

Diary literally only played in about 4 or 5 theaters. I doubt we'll see this unless we live in LA, New York, or Toronto.

The only thing going for this seems to be the buzz. I can't remember if Diary was really talked about that much. It seems that people are really interested to see if GAR still has it.

With Diary, i traveled from Milwaukee to Chicago to see it in a theater (100 miles) and had fun. Id do it again for Survival, but id rather it have a wide release. Cause if its really well done, id go more than once. dschoenike that reminds me, Diary actually did come to Milwaukee 2 weeks after its iniial release. Only stayed in the theater for 1 week or so though

I think George Romero kinda doesn't like the United States. That probably has nothing to do with this, but I just thought I'd share haha.

Ahahahaha!
I'm hoping we'll get a release date over here before it's released in the UK. If not, I may be importing Survival!
