I picked up the Divimax special edition of Creepshow 2 last week. It's pretty neat. I think I like Creepshow 2 just about as much as the first. I just wish it had a few more segments.

Just watched Creepshow for the first time in like 5 years the other day. I have owned the DVD for so long, but just haven't got around to watching it again in such a damn long time, which is odd considering how much I loved it as a kid.
It still stands up. Great freaking movie. Love it. My favorite segment is probably the one with Ted Danson. Man... Leslie Neilsen is a dick in that one.
I have never seen Creepshow 2, but I want to badly. Anyone know where I can pick a copy up on the cheap?

Yeah I saw that Deep Discount one. Was hoping I could score one even cheaper, since the original Creepshow I've seen for $5 or less.

That's strange. I still see it at places for around $5 or so.

Being a huge Tales from the Crypt fan as well as a King/Romero/80's horror fan, I loved Creepshow. I have the DiviMax of Creepshow 2, which I also loved, despite it's immense flaws. The first two hold a kinda of charm to them, partyly beause of the effects and animation styles; once upon a time things looked like this and not like crap, by which I'm refering to how people don't even try to bother with practicality anymore.
Even if it basicly is I don't really conceder Tales from the Darkside: The Movie to be Creepshow 3 because of the vast difference in tone, but I did really like it it's I'd deffinate;y place it as Creepshow 3 long before I'd even conceder the canon of the horrific "Creepshow III", as well as Day of the Dead 2: Contagium for that metter.

A little bit of trivia for us John Amplas fans. He played Nathan White's corpse in the "Father's Day" story. I love it when John turns up in a Romero movie.
And Warner Shook played Richard during that segment. He was the security guard zombie in Dawn of the Dead that attacked Stephen when he was looking for Roger & Peter.
