I'm not sure how to react to this. I don't like how he's revolving everything around that crapper Diary of the Dead.

I don't know there's a part of me that's interested in seeing how Romero will conclude his Dead series; but then there's a big part of me that thinks he doesn't really have it in him any more and that his grand finale will be akin to a tv show finale where they don't really have an ending in mind from the start that'll tie up all the developments in the series. Usually near the end they'll shoe horn something in and the end result is often lacklustre and unfulfilling which I imagine how the final episode of lost will play out.
Perhaps Romero should stop while he's ahead with his zombie movies, so he doesn't taint his own franchise any further.
Just my 2 cents.

From the looks of the credits on Survival, GAR handed off a lot of the duties.
I'll be happy if they are like Survival, but if he regresses back to the Diary garbage...

Your review of Survival gives me hope Fleshy. I'm still not particularly excited about the prospect of him making a back-to-back finale, but I would still see it regardless.

Its not available at my local Video Rental (Video Ezy) from searching their website, but it is available at Blockbuster. Unfortunately the nearest blockbuster is 20mins away. There is a mom & pop store just a little bit further then my local, I'll have to check with them. Maybe they'll be able to order it for me.

The way they released it was unorthodox to say the least. Here in the states it hit on demand for $10 then went to theaters in limited release and then to DVD. I watched it on instant demand on Netflix for Wii. I'll get it on DVD when the price drops or it pops up used at Movie Stop.

Its very strange they decided to release it on the net before in theatres. Its like they figured "meh why even bother trying to prevent internet piracy"

Strange for sure. It was "on demand" on the cable systems here, but I didn't feel like dropping $10 for something that I couldn't watch over again.

what scares me is that 10-15 years later Land, Diary and Survival and the final two will be more than likely remade
