Yes it has space vampires as it's a vampire movie but there are zombies too mainly the victims as they attack people and sometimes chow on their flesh if they can't get energy from people.

I hear there's major boobage in this movie
Been meaning to see this movie for a long while now. What sort of path does this movie take? By that I mean do Space Vampires run rampant through cities causing mass mayhem and carnage or is it a low budget monster siege movie?

They're supposed to be vampires.
Before Lord Byron and Dr John Polidori got high and gave us the concept of what we know as the vampire (commonly known as the "Baroque Vampire in literary circles), vampires had more in common with GAR-style ghouls than the suave mother-fuckers in capes that we know of.
What GAR did when he was ripping off Matheson's "I Am Legend" is he modernized the vampire while taking it back to its roots, so to speak.
Lifeforce does that as well, so to speak.
