Nice article. I feel the same way about Tennant Fleshy. I didn't see much of his series of Dr. Who but the episodes I did see I enjoyed. I think the guys got good acting chops and enough charisma to pull off the Peter Vincent character.

May be watching this tonight after work. We'll see. Same here, Fly. Gonna try and drag the wife to it. Maybe I will make a deal: She can see the cheesy dolphin movie if we see FN. Works for me.

David Tennant's a good actor, he'll probably do a good job. Farrell is ok but his face just doesn't say VAMPIRE to me for some reason. It's good to be wrong sometimes though. I doubt if this will be as good as the original, but like i said before, sometimes it's good to be wrong.

Saw this yesterday thanks to the Justin.TV channel on my Roku box and was....unimpressed. The original was such a welcome surprise on so many fronts, but this one left me....cold. The one thing I did love was the setting. It just makes so much sense that a vampire would set up shop in Vegas, where no one would even question him only being out at night.

Yeah, it tanked at the box office. Not quite as bad as Conan the Terrible, though.

That's the good think about a Roku box (I highly recommend getting one for 99.00, especially if you do Netflix streaming. It's Netflix, Amazon On Demand, Crackle, Pandora, Justin TV and dozens of other free and premium channels for the viewing). With Justin.TV, if there's a movie I'm unsure of, just wait and SOMEONE will be streaming it sooner rather than later. I came home from seeing Captain America in the theater to find it playing on my TV....sigh.

So its another stylish looking movie, but lacks the substance i.e (emotional connection with any of the characters)?

Compared to the Day of the Dead remake? It's Citizen Kane.
