Sounds pretty cool. Been a while since I've gone for a run around the neighbourhood so anything that can make that experience more fun is fine by me.

This game should definitely help us to stick to Rule No. 1 ;D

Has anyone else tried this out yet?
I downloaded this last weekend and its pretty cool. I was hesistant about the AUD$8.99 price tag initially but I think its worth every cent. The voice work is top notch.
The whole Premise behind the game is you're a Scavenger or Runner as they call them in game. You go out and do Supply runs and collect supplies to upgrade your Base, while avoiding or running away from groups of zombies. The way it works is it tracks your movements either through GPS or the accelerometer and you select a playlist and how long you want to run for (30mins or 1hour - though you can stop the mission anytime you want). Then you'll receive broadcasts in between your playlist either giving you new objectives or the radio operator will just be giving you new information about the story. Also at random times you'll hear a robot voice telling you about the supplies you just picked up. There's also an option to activate Zombie chases, and these will occur at random points. You basically just have to keep running until the zombie moans fade away from your ear phones.
Personally I think its a great app, and I look forward to doing more missions with it. Its been the first time I've actually enjoyed running in a long time. Also I synced it up with the soundtrack from the Silent Hill games and it created a great atmosphere with it. Just watch out for cars though when you're running away from zombies.

I'm tempted - I need to start doing some excercise...it is a little steep tho, is there a free timed demo?

Not that I'm aware of Gaz. Give this a look though and see if it takes your fancy. LINKI think its a great gimmick and works well with this setting. I'd love to play other audio games like this, but I'm not sure how well other settings would suit this format

Also if you're not used to running I'd recommend either following this couch to 5km program or alternating between 1minute jogging and 1minute/90 seconds of walking until you can handle running for longer periods.

I'll have a gander when I'm not at work Yeah - I can jog ok - it's just I find it boring as hell, I want to start playing football (soccer) again (one last comeback lol) so if I start jogging soon then I might be able to give it a try when clubs start training again.
