Well, the scans of the back cover tell the plot. The black cover is the unrated version while the red version is the R-rated version. I love this movie. Fun, late 1980s slasher flick. Harry Manfredini soundtrack. Some cool but not over the top gore deaths. Typical revenge slasher. One of my favourites. The only downfall is that is shows wang. Not available on DVD except for bootlegs floating around the internet. The tape is pretty rare. Something you can probably get at least $10 out of if not more. I'm lucky to own both versions. The R-rated version was given to me as a gift from my mom, who also gave me Phantasm II(another rare VHS). I bought the unrated version off an Indian Outlaw for $10 cash. He didn't tax me though. Well worth it because I wanted it badly. If you see it for cheap, buy it!

Shows wang?! What the hell? What horror movie shows wang? Were they trying to NOT make money?
I'll have to give this a watch when it hits disc.
Your Mom sounds pretty cool (getting you P2 VHS and all).
What the hell is Indian Outlaw?

Hahahaha Indian Outlaw is my nickname for my friend Dead, who runs the local comic book shop. He looks like Oates from Hall & Oates.

Too many to count when it comes to DVD. Don't know how many tapes I have either but not nearly as much as I do DVDs. I only have about six laserdiscs.
My collection is decent sized but I know people who have waaaaay more shit than I do.

I know people that buy DVD's just for the sake of having them, doesn't matter what they are. If it's new on DVD on tuesday, they buy it.
I would estimate that you have over 1,000 DVD's. That's just based on the amount that you have posted in the "recent purchases" thread.
The thing I love about DVD/VHS is that no matter how crappy the TV listing for that night is, there is always something on the shelf that I'm in the mood for. As for me, I keep my DVD's in a stacking drawer system. Each drawer holds about 100, so I'm at about 400 DVD's.
Is it more of a collection of film, or a collection of just DVD's. I think it depends on the person. What says you?

I may buy a DVD just to have it if it's something rare or out of print. Or just a movie I like ie Dawn of the Dead, Evil Dead trilogy, etc. I probably would have over 1000 DVDs but I trade them off sometimes. I'd say it's a little of both, I guess. Here's my collection if you want to browse it. mr-chainsaw.dvdaf.com/ownedI remember making a DVD collection discussion thread but I think it got buried somewhere.

Watched this again last night too after Maniac. Caroline Munro happens to be in both movies. The cast in this is one of the most disposable casts that I've ever seen in a slasher movie. There's only maybe two or three that stand out from the rest. Plus, they're all jerks so you want them to get offed by Marty.
I'd still like to grab the DVD of this sometime.

Haha it seems like it was just yesterday. Time really does fly. My VHS copies are still holding up nicely but I do need to upgrade to DVD soon to preserve those great tapes!

I don't know if this is less than the normal price but I grabbed the Slaughter High DVD from Best Buy for $9 today. It came in a "FEARnet Body Bag" case. Pretty neat. Glad to finally have this on DVD so I can retire my VHS tapes.
