aka NeCRAPolis to some Highly anticipated sequel many years in the making. Sadly, this film isn't very spectacular. It's ok. Ok enough for me to own. Reminds me a lot of Resident Evil. You'll see the similarities. Headshots kill the zombies in this movie but I guess that can be forgiven since the chemical used is called "Trioxin-5" instead of "245-Trioxin." I'm guessing it's a lot weaker than the latter. I saw this & Rave to the Grave on Sci-Fi when they premiered a few years back. A kid does get his brains eaten, which is kind of cool. The soundtrack blows. I hate Godsmack.

I bought another copy of this yesterday for like $3.33 at a Hollywood Video going out of business. I also bought Rave to the Grave for the same price. I said that I'd never pay more than $5 for a copy of either. Haha.

Watched Necropolis before work this morning & actually dug it more than I did after my initial viewing. It's pretty silly with some not so great acting, but the gore was well-done & it had an ok story even though it reminded me of Resident Evil.
Funny how these zombies aren't runners & seem to enjoy flesh in addition to brains. Also, headshots kill them now...but then again the chemical is called "Trioxin-5" in this rather than 245-Trioxin. Perhaps it's a different chemical but it's more than likely poor continuity. Shame on you, William Butler!

William's brain will never be the same after you have Jason ram his arm in your chest while you puke out blood later to be taken out by the MPAA.......

You know, I haven't seen any of the Return of the Living Dead movies outside of the first 2. I should probably seek the rest out someday, but that franchise just doesn't appeal to me as much as Romero's movies do. I guess I just don't like that they can only be killed by Fire or Electricity compared to destroying the brains.

Then you may like the last 2 of the franchise, the zombies can be killed by headshot just like in Romero movies.
