This is quite possibly the wierdest Zombie flick... ever. It's a mix of zombies, x-files and cartoony stuff. It's odd. It's an Aussie film, not sure if that means anything. I picked it up at Moviestop for $5. If anyone else on here has seen it, my bet would be Flyboy. If you can rent it, do so. Not sure I would go spending cash on it though.

First Hitler. Then, Duran Duran. Now this.
Yet another reason for me to hate Australia. ;D

I saw it, and honestly I thought it was poo. That's just this man's opinion though. It was by no means good. I would watch it over the Day remake any day of the week.

Austrailia and Hitler? Don't get it. It's a joke. Hitler was Austrian. And, Duran Duran is a British group.

Ah. Okay.
I could care less about Duran-Duran. Not a fan.
As for Hitler, when I was in High School I was in Economics class. It was close to graduation so the Army Recruiters came in and talked to us about signing up. One of the Recruiters asked us where Hitler was born. Who ever answered got his Wings. I was the only one in the class to raise my hand. This girl sitting next to me said "How did you know that?". I simply turned and said "I was born in Germany". Even if I wasn't, isn't his birthplace mentioned in anything having to do with WW2? This state is full of fucking idiots.

I owned this movie for the longest time & never watched it. I ended up trading it in somewhere.

I only watched the first 20 minutes and it was boring , almost no dialogue, boring zombies, cheesy gore. Then I saw the horrible special effects (the lights from the sky) and turned it off.

Well...in its defense, it was a "foreign" film. It no doubt had lots of comedy and in-jokes that went over most Americans' heads.
A couple of weeks ago I watched a Canadian flick called "Bon Cop/Bad Cop"....it was a Canuck buddy cop/action flick with the dialogue in Quebecois and English. Loads of Canadian stuff that just went right over my head...but the Canucks loved it to death.
Same thing there.

I enjoyed Undead. I thought a few of the effects were cool & I got a couple good laughs out of it. I thought the backwoods redneck character was bad*** too.

I liked Undead, it's a zombie movie that doesn't take itself too seriously, and we shouldn't either. I've seen a lot worse! It was enjoyable!

I managed to catch it at the cinema, to be honest I rather liked it. I just took it at face value and switched my brain off. You kind of have to with those kinds of movies to enjoy them. I did enjoy Mungo McKay's performance as Marion though, he was quite funny. Particularly the scene where he's having a fist fight with a zombie fish.
A lot of people say the special effects were a bit corny, but I'm impressed with what they did considering the Directors/Writers (the Spierig Twins) made all of them on their Laptop. Thats a fair effort for a couple of twins on such a small budget.

I was surprised by it. I expected it to be a straight forward zombie flick. It was entertaining. I have not given it a second watch yet.
