It first came out in 1997 on DVD. The first cover I listed. Then the Anniversary Edition came out in 1999. I think by at least 2000 or 2001, it was hard to come by until the 2004 special edition came out(the release before the Ultimate Edition).

Was there a time when Dawn wasn't released on DVD, or was it released in short supply? [glow=red,2,300]I have one of the original short supply copies.[/glow]

I ordered this version off Amazon today: I also own the 2004 Divimax gold foil version as well as the version that isn't gold foiled. Another Amazon purchase for today: Can we say nerd?

A nerdy hero perhaps. Can't wait for them to arrive. I also ordered the new Pieces DVD.

I used to own that Anniversary Edition of the theatrical cut disc. I sold it a long time ago because the picture quality was horrible. I agree with those who feel the Euro cut was not that great, but at least you get to check it out if you never saw it. THe 4th disc of extras is absolutely awesome.
The blu-ray edition of the film has the theatrical version of the movie plus the bonus features of disc 4 of the 4 disc set all on the same release which is awesome.
