"I was watching my Day of the Dead bonus material dvd and I am so glad that Return of the Living Dead was the better film at that time. To me Day of the Dead was nowhere near as good as Dawn of the Dead. I do not know how Day could be George's favorite. No wonder why Return did better. In Day you had the military personale yelling and fighting with the scientists about how to survive the zombies. In Return the older guys and the punk rocker gang just put their differences aside to fight the zombies. They didnt just sit around and spew stupid comments around like in Day. There was more action in Return than in Day. The effects were great in both films but I like Return of the Living Dead better. George calls it a 'spoof' of his films. I dont think so. Its just a different take on the zombies. Just like in the 1988 zombie classic (to me anyway) Dead Heat. Gun toting zombies. COOL! Another different take on the whole zombie genre. So my main point is that Return is a better film and it is not a spoof."

Quote from another Roger on MySpace:
"I agree. I mean, I like Day of the Dead, but I thought Return Of The Living Dead was more fun watching. To repeat what you said: Day Of The Dead is nowhere near as good as Dawn Of The Dead. Dawn is like one my my favorite movies of all time. I never seen the movie Dead Heat though."

Another quote from Ddarkvision:
"I totally agree w/ you on all points. w/ day, it was more of a racism fueled vat that boiled over and went bad. the special effects were great in day, and the zombies were really scary looking. however, the soldiers' in day ended up being scarier than the zombies. good call, mr. demarco. Ddark".
