The gore in the Friday the 13th series is tame as hell compared to the Saw movies. Most if not all were cut to shreds by the MPAA back in the 1980s. But the gore in Romero's movies is not tame at all. The flesh eating scenes in the ending of Day of the Dead are gorier than anything in the Saw movies. Gratutious gore is here since the first gore movie Blood Feast, it's nothing new. The only difference is that today the MPAA is more lenient and allow more violence to be shown on screen.

That's not what he said. Re-read what you quoted. He said that the gore in F13 was tame, not the romero films.

Yeah I was talking about the Friday the 13th films being tame, not Romero's Dead films. His films are known for their gore & effects. Next time you try to argue with me, be sure to get the facts straight first. Or better yet, don't even try to argue with me because it's futile & pointless.

I was referring to what Flesh Eater said earlier, that he doesn't like how modern horror has gratutious gore nudity and all that. and I proved that older horror had it too so what's the difference?

Then don't quote something I say & bring up shit I didn't even mention.
I think I speak for pretty much everyone here when I say that we're tired of you always trying to start arguments for the sake of arguing. It's been old for months now & I'm surprised that we've let this go time in & time out. This is your last warning. Stop or leave & join a board more suited to your tastes. This place isn't it obviously because you've been arguing with just about everyone since day one. Why you've stayed here, I do not know. If you don't stop, it's an instant ban.

Omer, since when do Romero's Dead films have excessive nudity. I only recall 1 boob, and that was in DAWN.
Try again...

Land of the dead also had 1 boob in the nightclub scene. And there was a nude zombie woman in NOTLD.

Not excessive nudity though. The nudity in the Dead films was very brief.
A flash of a tit or an ass is not excessive nudity.

I agree the Dead films didn't have excessive nudity. Friday the 13th films did - the skinny dipping scenes which I loved. The girls in those films were gorgeous.

Not all of them had excessive nudity. There was brief tits in the first. Full frontal in the second with the character of Terry. A very brief tit shot in the third. Excessive in the fourth. About the same for the fifth. No nudity in Jason Lives. A few nudes in seven. Tits in eight. A few nudies in the ninth. A few pairs of tits in X. And a little bit in Freddy vs. Jason. I've seen more nudity in other slashers than the Friday the 13th films. People make them out to be these huge gorefests with naked women but they're not really either.
