The balance would have been destroyed if Romero made a sequel that follows charactors. None of the other films follow any charactor, and its good because a Land direct sequel would have also made me mad.

Yeah it almost seems like all of George's film are seperate stand alone zombie films. Though Land did have the zombie version of Tom Savini's character in Dawn, and it also had a zombie chained up who looked like Bub.

The second choice for me too. I like how his movies are pretty much unrelated & give us new characters with each one.
If Romero made a sequel to Diary, I'd still watch it since I did enjoy Diary but I'm not upset that we aren't getting a sequel to it either.

Kind of glad that he didn't make a sequel to Diary because then it just would've been more douchebag film students and no Samuel, unless they included a twin backstory where the twin was looking for Revenge on the zeds who killed his brother but that'd be too corny for a Romero movie
