What is your favorite classic horror film (i.e. Frankenstein, Invisible Man, Wolf Man, etc.)
My personal favorite (at the current time) is Frankenstein Meets The Wolf Man. I love the opening cemetery scene.

Nosferatu, though it's been a while since I've seen it. Turner Classic Movies aired it a while ago, and I was thinking of recording it (I'm too cheap to buy it. )

Night of the Living Dead is about the closest I've come to a horror classic I'm afraid.

For Christmas I asked for all of the Legacy collections. Each one has the original film and all of the legit sequels. They are quite a steal. They contain an average of 4 flicks and run about $18 on deep discount.

I have the Legacy Collections of Frankenstein, The Creature From the Black Lagoon, & Dracula. I really want to get the Wolfman one of these days.

I'm not much of a classic fan but I liked Dracula (1931) . also Night of the Living Dead (68) was good for its time.

Night of the Living Dead is about the closest I've come to a horror classic I'm afraid. Yeah, me too. I would actually go farther than 70s and 80s but, since I live in the "sticks" its pretty hard to find anything pre-70s here.

What is really considered "classic" these days? 80's? 70's?

I love The Birds and Psycho! Great flicks! Agreed. Hitchcock = GOD I still need to see Black Christmas. I kind of want to see the remake too.
