Awesome. I'd love to see them recreate the Battle of Yonkers, that scene alone would be worth the price of admission.

Sounds like it's gonna be epic, too.

The book is real epic. It's a great read. I like the fact that you can read a story, flip 100 pages and read another and not miss anything. It's a collection of stories, not one story. Max Brooks is the new zombie messiah.

I'm borrowing the book from a friend. I've had it since late March & haven't read it yet. I need to get on the ball because I have a buttload of books to read.

Yeah it's a great read, Flyboy.
Brooks is also working on a third book called Recorded Attacks.

Hot damn, I can't wait for this. Loves me some Romero, but it's always great to see a different "take" on the zombie thing on film.

Looks pretty cool. Concept art is always a little over the top. Chances are, this will be chocked full of CGI.

Yeah but this happens to be one zombie movie I wouldn't mind some CGI in. It's such an epic and grand scale that I don't think there's any way to avoid using CGI, especially in a scene like The Battle of Yonkers.

Very true. And since this takes place all over the world, it will be pretty difficult to shoot on location about 40 times. Not all CGI is bad. I have seens some pretty decent stuff (atleast what I consider decent).
