I've heard rumors that a guy who lives in my town played a zombie in Day of the Dead. He's a former film critic from my local newspaper named Tom Brown. He is also a filmmaker of sorts who made a movie about bullying that I watched at school while in 5th grade. I see him out every now & then. He's usually at FYE trading in DVDs. If I were someone who just approached people, I'd ask him straight up sometime. Anyway, there's an uncredited zombie in Steel's death that sort of looks like him...as shown on this site that rogueslayer shared with us: members.tripod.com/drlogan/unzombies.htmI may jump in & take a screen capture since this picture is really small.

Here's a screenshot of the part. He's the zombie on the left. It's definitely him.

Wait... so he's that lady zombie, or the one in the background? Or is that even a lady? I'm so confused.
Anyway, that's freaking awesome man. You should try to secretly snap a photo of him sometime and post a side by side comparison!

An autograph would be awesome also. Actually, multiple Autographs; so we can have one also.

Apparently he did a 25th Anniversary documentary for Night of the Living Dead. I also found this, which pretty much confirms everything. www.anchorbayentertainment.com/dayofthedead/pdf/twodays.pdf

I think his name was 'Romerofan' on the site.

I wonder how we can see the NOTLD documentary he did. I'd love to check it out.

This is all really cool Fly!
I'm the type that won't approach someone famous. I feel that they are normal joes just like me and deserve their privacy, they are just trying to do everyday things. Now con appearances are another situation.

Haha I usually don't approach anyone at all. This guy seems approachable though. Seems like a nice guy that would be fun to chat with. Perhaps one of these days.
For now, it's still pretty rad knowing that a guy who lives in my town was a featured(although uncredited) zombie in Day of the Dead.
Straight up badness.

It is a good read. I enjoyed it.
I do remember a zombie with dog tags in his mouth during the feasting scene after Rhodes gets it. I'll look for it as well. Pretty neat!

I haven't seen this guy around town lately but then again, I don't really go to many places these days. I'm sure he's around, I just don't see him.

You should try and spot him at least one more time before you move!

I'll try. I'll have to hit up FYE a few more times & perhaps the local comic shop.
Here's a sample of the movie he did about bullying that I mentioned earlier:
I actually went to the school in that town in 5th & 6th grade. Haha.

You can see him discard the dog tags in the second photo. Those particular zombies had a lot to feast on with Steel. ;D
