I can't remember how much I paid for mine but it was probably around $15 or so. I bought it close to the day it came out at a Best Buy. I was super amped for it since it was long out of print at the time. I was also impatiently awaiting Dawn to be re-released since it was out of print as well.

Wow, I didn't realize that these flicks were that hard to come by. Glad I got in the game late

I'd say they got rare around 2000 or so.

That's when DVD's started getting real hot, so maybe that's why? Transfer time from VHS to DVD.

Great advice about the special features discs- I'll deffo be on the lookout for those in the future, but fear I may have to actually (gasp!) make an online purchase in order to get them. I'm a-feared of doing that these days.

You'll probably have to get it online because I hardly ever see the 2 disc version in stores these days. It's not out of print or anything & shouldn't be too pricy at all. Or you may find it used in a store somewhere too.
I'm weary about ordering online especially if it's a really obscure movie like Pieces. I ordered(or so I thought) the special edition that came out in October & the shitty budget version was sent to me. I paid $15 for it & made sure to send it back for a full refund.

Sometimes you can find the 2 disc at Best Buy. If they don't have one in store, they can order it so you won't have to worry about getting screwed online.

The 2 disc is definitely worth picking up. Found mine when it first came out in a midwest retail chain called Meijer. And for a good price, too.

Meijer is awesome. It's pretty similar to a Super Target. Clean and organized.

Yeah, it is- much better than Wally World, and makes K-Mart look like a dirty stop-and-rob.

I actually worked at a Meijer for a while a few years ago. Worst job I ever had. They treat their employees worse than Wal-Mart... and yes I know cause I worked at Wal-Mart after quitting Meijer.
My favorite store like those is Target though. Awesome place.

Target is the best "big store" we have down here. Wal-Mart is atrocious, dirty, dirty, dirty. Target always seems to be clean.
Good grief, we are like old women, talking about stores.

I like Target but they're a bit pricy sometimes. Super Targets rule.

For anyone into Blu-Ray, this has been out for awhile. It basically looks like a HD port of the 2-disc DVD that AB put out in 2003. It's for sale on Amazon for $12.49, which is a great price for a Blu-Ray. If that was the average price of Blu-Ray discs, I'd be all about 'em! Also, I'd have to own a nice HD TV & Blu-Ray player haha. Here's a review with screencaps. www.blu-ray.com/movies/movies.php?id=519&show=review
