I saw it today.
The White Horse bullshit was stuuuuupid. Stupid, stupid, stupid. The whole paranormal aspect of it was a big turn off. This girl doesn't know that she is MM's sister through the whole fuckin movie, then she finds out and accepts it? Idiotic. The death scenes were overly violent and very much over the top. The writing was shit, terrible. Loomis was such a joke. So now he is writing books and going on tour, but yet still lives in Haddonfield? Give me a break. There were 4 people in the theater, me and my GF included. I couldn't wait for it to end. Moustapha Akkad is rolling over in his grave. Hobo Myers was terrible. So not only did Zombie bring us shit about having sex with corpses (which he probably does), but now Michael Myers is eating dogs? Fucking joke. Zombie's wife needs to stop acting. Another thing..... MICHAEL MYERS AS A CHILD NEVER SPOKE HALF AS MUCH AS IN THIS PIECE OF SHIT! The whole thing really just pissed me off. Fuck Zombie and his white trash wife.

if you remember in the first one, Loomis and Sherrif Bracket do find a dog in the Myers place and they have the discussion about Michael eating the dog

I actually thought the violence in this was tame. I guess that's what I get for watching Fulci flicks & other Italian/foreign horror.
Rob Zombie just tries way too hard to be all violent & shocking...and falling flat on his beard every time. I love that H2 was an epic failure & that it's being panned by lots of people. I'm also glad that people are waking up to Rob Zombie's bullshit & seeing him for the hack that he is.

Oh, trollmer, have you actually seen it? Or are you one of those douche bags that praises a movie without seeing it?

I liked his previous films so there's a good chance that I'll like this one too.

one of those douche bags that praises a movie without seeing it? People have been doing that like crazy for Halloween II. People were running their mouths about people condemning it without seeing it yet they were doing the exact opposite & sucking the movie off even before it hit theaters. I just don't think there's anything to praise about Halloween II or Rob Zombie. He's no better than shit directors like Uwe Boll or whomever is giving us the latest SyFy original movie. The only difference is that he was well-known for his music before he even made movies. And with Halloween II, he's 0-4 when it comes to making movies. He's given us four pieces of shit & I'm sure that streak will continue with The Blob & whatever other movie he ends up remaking.

That's exactly what he did to the Michael Myers character and Halloween franchise. Hopefully it'll get back on track with the next installment.

Pretty much. Zombie fucked the Michael Myers character & the Halloween franchise. Why not make a joke in his latest feature about it? You're brilliant, Rob Zombie. I applaud you. I wish we could all be as clever as you are.

I'm interested to see what people think about it in 5 years. Probably not much. He probably won't have much of a career in 5 years either.
