That's pretty cool!
Someone here said that they'd done the mall tour, and that the security guards sorta' look at you funny if they see you taking pictures. In this "post-9/11" world in which we live, I can believe that, but if I went there I'd definitely be snapping the pics. My camera would be glued to my face!

Awesome! One of these days I'll be visiting there. I'd say that it's about 6 hours or so from where I live. Maybe less.

I'm not sure if they can legally do that.
I would love to visit that place one day. Seeing how it's starting to age, it's only a matter of time before they demolish it and build a "Super Mall."

I'd want to document my trip there with some pictures, especially if I'm traveling many hours to get there. If that's the case, their security can suck it.

I sorta' understand that logic, though- they want to ensure that the picture taker is not planning some sort of terrorist attack. It's a (bullshit) sign of the times in which we live.

Some pretty cool snaps there. Even though a lot has changed you can still see some of the old spirit in the place. I find myself waiting to see a zombie lurch into frame.

Cool picture. Was that set up at MVM? That toy store there has that display inside. Mostly just busts, but they have a video playing all day long that you can sit and watch.
