Is Russo responsible for the 30th edition? If so, I wonder if it wasn't meant as a bash towards George. Even then, why go through the trouble? Yes, he was responsible, and he had all right to add to the film since it was also his work.

This edition is pure shit. The reverend guy is terrible as is the new score, which was also done by Reverend Shit(I think so anyway).

I did not like the new religious tilt of the story, but I did like the new music. I liked the 90 minute cut with the new music on the disc. I was another interpretation of a classic film. I enjoyed it for what it was.

I picked this up at K-Mart last week for like $5. I couldn't pass up owning this abomination again for collector's purposes. I had it about three years ago. The covers are different & it didn't have a little booklet like the previous one. That's probably the only other difference besides the cover. One of these days, I'll watch it again.
Maybe the added scenes inspired them to make Children of the Living Dead. If that's the case, I thank them. I will always love that turd.
