Around the time Savini remade Night I read that they also rushed to remake it because another studio was getting ready to remake it.
Has anyone else heard this? And if so do you have any info on it?

Never heard bout it.
I'll bet that in the next few years to come that another big studio Night remake will hit the theaters.
