Best music video ever! It's a shame MJ is dead now, but his legacy will never be forgotten.

One of the greatest music videos of all time. Seriously, MJ's best video. What makes it great is that it was directed by John Landis, who also made An American Werewolf in London. R.I.P.

Too bad John Landis is kind of a jackass.

Too bad John Landis is kind of a jackass. He's made some good movies but yeah I hear he's a jackass.

Oh & the above statement has to do with the controversy surrounding Twilight Zone: The Movie.

I'm basing my impression of him out of an interview he did after MJ died. He wasn't too caring. He's going to be at Spooky Empire, maybe I'll shoot him a bird or two.

It's a shame now MJ is now among the living dead in the ground for reals.

Man I can't believe he died back in June 09. It feels like it was only in October or November that it happened

This video was actually very influential.
Look at what zombies looked like before "Thriller"--they were basically just extra chumps painted white or blue or green or whatever.
Academy Award winner Rick Baker changed all of that with this video. So much so that even the Godfather of the Undead, GAR, wound up copying off of him with his next flick.
But, in all fairness, Bob Clark should've sued the shit out of John Landis over this video--it's almost a direct rip-off stylistically of CSPWDT rather than NOTLD...
