Since Blade returned from Dawn.
Who else did you think of could have made a return in Land?
I wouldnt have mind seeing Bub and Logan in Land, i heard Romero did plan for them to appear but changed it to Blade.

Do they have to have been alive by the end of the movie they were in? Otherwise its a tough one as most of the notable ones died (on screen):
Bill Hinzman zombie, Hare Krishna Zombie, Stephen Zombie, Rodger Zombie etc.

Too bad the Helicopter Zombie didn't reattach the top part of his head. I'd love to see Jim Krut reprise his role.
And if he didn't get shot at the end of Dawn, the afro zombie.

I wonder if Peter's bullet went through afro zombie's head & through the back of his fro?

The bullet likely made it through the skull, but the complex inter-weavings of the fro were strong enough to capture the bullet without letting it through.

Could GAR steal Jat Leno zombie from the remake of DOTD?

Although the movie as a whole sucked cock, and there was no real way to redeem it....it would've been cool to have some of the other characters show up.
If only GAR hadn't sold all of the rights just to keep himself in McDonald's value meals back in the '90s, maybe we could've seen Peter as a member of the Pittsburgh militia. Maybe they could've been zipping around in the WGON helicopter--using it as air support...

That sounds like a pretty cool cameo actually, and it wouldn't of been too much of a stretch to see him in such a role. So are you saying GAR has sold all of his rights on the other dead movies (dawn and Day)?

From what I understand, one way or the other GAR no longer has the rights to Dawn or Day. That's why Land and the rest are not billed as direct sequels, and that's why no characters from the old movies have shown up in the new ones.

Taurus Entertainment Company has the rights to Day, I believe. And that's why we got that shitty Day of the Dead 2 nonsense.
