So far the only dead film ive seen in theateres is Land of the Dead, but i would like to see the orginals in theaters.
So i was wondering if you guys would like the idea of a theatrical re-release of the films. It would give people a chance to experience the movies in theatres, like they did with the original Star Wars movies (execpt without any changes).

They're supposedly re-releasing DAWN in theaters... in 3D.
I'd love for this to happen. I'd definitely be the first in line.

I'd watch each & every one of them if they were re-released in theaters.

I'd love to see them in theatres but I doubt it will ever happen.

Probably because the mass audiences will disregard them as old fart horror movies & write them off because they aren't full of CGI, nu-metal, & rappers trying to be actors.

Yeah it'd be pretty cool to experience them in the cinema, but unless it was at a discount price or for free. Otherwise I'd feel a bit silly spending A$16.50 for each of them in the cinema when I already own all of them on DVD.

I'd do it. I would see all three of them in theaters. I'm sure that in some cities, it would draw a crowd, and in other cities it wouldn't draw shit, hence select major cities is the way to go.
I went to a one-night-only screening of Poltergeist here in Vegas a few years back, and the place was totally packed. There were parts where I couldn't hear the film over the laughter (the good kind, it's actually a really funny film). I'm sure that big-hub cities could pack a house for a few classic zombie films, if not for horror fans but also the hipsters who can go on saying "yeah well I saw it on the big-screen!"
Someone would have to have the money, the faith, and the balls to try that out. I'm sure that Mr. Rubenstein has at least one of those things, but don't count on that bum for nothin'.

This one of my biggest dreams; to see all three original Dead movies on the big screen and getting the mainstream recognition they thoroughly deserve! Audiences these days are just interested in remakes or modern releases eg. Transformers (which was actually pretty good BTW). I would love to see a re-release of all of them in 3D. Man, that would be great! Hopefully they'll go through with it!
