Since alot of movies are making the transition into broadway shows/plays. Would romero's dead trilogy work in that style? or should it stay as a film.
(Evil Dead pulled it off)

Evil Dead had a certain comedic element to it that made it something that could transition. It also had an exaggerated main character. Romero's Dead films are more serious in tone and the characters, for the most part, are more rooted in reality.

IMO the only ones that could really work are Night of the Living Dead and maybe Day of the Dead, since they take place in pretty much one location (A farmhouse & a Bunker), so its more about the character interaction then the set pieces. Dawn of the Dead and Land would just be too big too pull off, and the scenes of them cocooning themselves from the Zombpocalypse and enjoying the fruits of the Mall just wouldn't translate well to the stage. But thats just my opinion
