Although I can get into H20 & Resurrection, both are easily the worst of the original series. Halloween 5 would've been better if Tina wasn't so damn annoying. And if Rachel wasn't killed off. Rachel shouldn't of have been killed off...That was a total bummer..

Agreed. She was a good character killed off in a shitty way. Should've done that shit to Tina instead!

I haven't heard on HalloweenMovies or anywhere else about the new H4/H5 dual-pack from Anchor Bay. Have you guys? Wal-Mart had a two-disc collection with all of the groovy supplements for $5.
What a deal! LOVE those Anchor Bay fellows.

Haha I almost bought that just to own it but haven't because I have those two discs in the ugly 30th anniversary set as well as two of the old AB releases of each movie. It's a good deal though. WELL worth $5 since you're getting the newer Divimax DVDs.

Halloween 1 and 2 are easily my favourites out of the series. 4 was a good return to form however H5 killed it for me. one of the main problems for me is why they couldnt have spent a little bit of money and constructed a set to resemble the myers house as it was in the first two.
I know they moved shooting away from California but still..come on!!!
H6 was an excellent flick (though i prefer the producers cut) and i probably watch it alot more than 4&5. I thought the story line was pretty cool especially as it gave an insight into how Michael came to be etc.
I really like H20 and the way Laurie was brought back into the storyline and i loved the explanation as to how michael got away when it came to Resurection. Though in all honesty after laurie kicks the bucket ressurection sucks..wooden actors and ridiculas story line. And why do they insist on putting rappers in movies who cant act?
favourites in order:
H1 H2 H3 H6 H20 H4 H5 H8

Your all probably wondering on why Halloween 3 is part of the series, here's the story:
John Carpenter intended to end Michael's story with part 2 cause he had enough of him and decided to roast him at the end of Halloween 2. He came up with a concept to turn the franchise into a Twilight Zone, Creepshow, Grindhouse oe Heavy Metal style anthology of Halloween themed horror stories every year. But the plan didn't go too well with Halloween 3 as it was the only movie to experiment on this idea.

I wasn't really wondering that since it's common knowledge for any Halloween fan. Plus, I just watched Halloween: 25 Years of Terror haha.
