When Roger became a zombie, he looked more like a Day of the Dead type zombie rather than the rest of the blue faced zombies? Its not that big of a deal but i just wanted to point it out

I guess more effort was put into his makeup then the other extras. My thoughts though are that also he's only just died so his decomposition isn't as bad as the other zeds, so piling on the grey and blue makeup might look a bit off, for someone who's only been dead for a very short time.
He got the dead eyes just right though Scott Reineger. They really convey that dead, emotionless zombie stare. You just don't really see that anymore, now its all about the fluro contact lenses so audiences can be spoon fed a visual cue that someone is a zombie

Yeah they put a lot more time into Roger's zombie look, as he's a main character. I think they did an outstanding job.
I agree 100% with you about the eyes deadtricknick... I'm personally not a big fan of the contact lenses they use these days.

The logic I used with Steven was that he'd been dead longer then Roger by a few hours at least, particularly since his body was all stiff and rigid. As I remember it Peter decided to wait for Steven (and it seemed to be a while) just in case he made it out or at least to do him the courtesy of putting him out of his misery if he came back as a zombie.

It's one of life's greatest mysteries but ol' Roger does look pretty sweet as a zombie. And I agree about the eyes. Great body(eye) language there.

Actually scratch that Rigor Mortis may've had some impact on Steven's mobility but more so I'd say he walked and moved the way he did from having the muscles and tendons in those areas damaged from where the zeds had taken chomps out of him.

That's what I thought as well. It does make sense too. And great zombie acting by David Emge. ;D

I love the way the revolver spins around on Stevens dead stiff finger. Great touch yeah it was a pretty neat touch, and good commitment by David Emge for pulling off his zombie shuffle whilst never letting go of the gun.

And great zombie acting by David Emge. ;D I don't think anyone else in a zombie movie has come close to besting David Emge's crippled zombie acting, the way he walks on his twisted ankle and the way he claws and bites at that bit of rough particle board(?) when he's making his way up to Peter and Fran makes me want to grind my teeth.

I think that was done on purpose since they started out as characters we like. It made it more heartbreaking that they were dead.
