I'm referring of course to this guy Who seemed to love looking down the barrel of rifles. Anyway I just got thinking shouldn't that zombie be dead before the end of the film. Not because he had an affinity for looking down the barrels of loaded weapons and may've tripped, but because he was still inside the mall by the time our quartet of hero's closed all the mall entrances and raided the gun shop. Technically he should've been trapped inside and thus an easy target for Peter & Co. Anyone got any theories or do they just think it was a goof to include a familiar zombie near the end?

i'm still working on that one myself. It seems possible that he somehow must have found a hiding place of som sort, or maybe he trapped himself somewhere and the bikers let him out.

Since the survivors didn't lock all of the doors at the same time, it's possible that he went out one of them before they got around to locking it. They didn't sweep up all of the trapped zombies until after they'd locked the doors, and an earlier scene shows the dead coming and going through those doors at will. He got out, and was then allowed re-entry by the bikers.

Even though he seemed more interested in looking down the barrel of a rifle then eating brains thus less of a threat I doubt our quartet of protagonists would've been careless enough to leave any nook and cranny unchecked for zeds.

GAR was always big on fucking up in the continuity department in all of his films. Makes me think of that one kid football player zombie from Day who keeps showing up...
