This March, Arrow Video celebrates the 25th Anniversary of writer-director George A. Romero’s 1985 horror masterpiece, Day Of The Dead, with a special two-disc Blu-ray release that features a host of world exclusive extras, including a restored presentation of the film, a new hi-def soundtrack (the original ‘uncensored dialogue’ version, completely restored), four alternate sleeves, a double-sided poster, a 24-page collector’s booklet ‘For Every Dawn There Is A Day’, plus a very special collector’s comic – ‘Day Of The Dead: Desertion’ – featuring a brand new ‘Bub’ storyline. Also after years of Dawn of the Dead getting all the great documentaries Day finally gets the retrospective it deserves with the all-new Joe of the Dead and Travelogue of the Dead. The comic is worked on by Stef Hutchinson, Jeff Zornow and Barry Keating. taken from ComicMonsters.com

I always thought miguel came back as a zombie, during the "feast" scene theres a zombie right at the end munching through the fence,it looks very similar 2 what miguel would look like as a zed.

I'd love to read that comic as well as import the Blu-ray but I don't have an HDTV or a Blu-ray player....yet.

I always thought there wouldn't of been anything left of poor old Miguel after he got swarmed by those zeds on the lift. If it had only been one or two zeds I could understand him still being fairly intact, but I reckon he would've gone the way of Torrez, Steel and Rickles and be mince meat with the volume of zeds that walked over to him on the lift.

I really do hope that they sell the comic separately from the collectors Blu-Ray. I'd hate for the only way to get it is just with the Blu-Ray. Otherwise it isn't fair for us average joe's without Blu-Ray players.

For something so close to release, I'm shocked I still can't find it on Amazon.
