Romero directed The Facts in the Case of M. Valdemar while the great Dario Argento directed The Black Cat. Out of the two tales, I prefer Romero's although Argento's tale is great as well. Tom Savini did the effects on this. I'm thinking this was the last time he did effects for movies or this was one of the last times. There's a feature on the second disc of the limited edition DVD where they tour around Tom's house. It's circa 1989 or 1990 because they were talking about Tom directing the Night remake as well as some stuff about Two Evil Eyes, which came out around that time. Highly recommend! PS Tom Atkins is in this too!

I need to see this. It's something I've wanted to see for a long time but I never come across it.

Sounds pretty cool. Would definitely like to see it some day, with the likes of Romero and Argento at the helm but sounds like it might be hard to come across
