This movie was pretty awesome. I was really hesitant to watch it back when it came out because I thought the trailer looked like a poop-filled CGI fest, but I was pleasantly surprised to find an actual decent modern horror effort.
The cast was great, particularly Alison Lohman as the main lead. I was also a fan of Dileep Rao in this film as the fortune teller. I also think Sam Raimi works best in horror... as much as I enjoyed his Spider-Man films, this movie just felt more... right.
Thoughts? Opinions?

I liked it as well. The fortune teller was really scary and creepy in the beginning.I liked Spidey 1 & 2 but thought # 3 was weak sauce.

Shit that reminds me. I completely forgot that I got a copy of this from a friend of a friend, but just haven't gotten around to watching it yet. Damn I could've watched this on Friday the 13th instead of poltergeist.

Gratefuldead, you're 100% right. Spider-Man 3 was utter garbage.
DTN, you gotta watch it! I'd love to know your thoughts on it.

Spider-Man 3 was ok in my book but could've been a good film if they didn't try to cram too much shit into one movie.
