It looks like it should be decent. Is Alan Van Sprang's character supposed to be Brubaker From Land? Anybody know?
EDIT: Oops sorry about that I didn't look closely enough at the first post. It appears he is playing a different character to Brubaker.

I expected a more pumped response! I super excited after seeing it. If it's on par with Land, I will be happy. I think that we all pretty much agree that nothing is going to come close to Night, Dawn, Land.

Oh I'm pumped, believe you me.
It won't touch the original trilogy, but damn... after Diary, this will seem like gold.

I think I'm the only one here who is just "meh" towards it. That's just my trailer reaction though. The film itself could be great. I'm going to watch the trailer a few more times later & be more attentive. I was only half paying attention to it the first time through.

Not sure what aspect of it is working for me yet, but I really liked what I saw. I thought that some aspects of it was similar to Day. Some people are trying to keep the zeds alive and live with them, other just want them dead.

I really believe this has a chance to compete with the original 3. Land was darn close in my opinion, and if GAR learned from his mistakes with Diary, this could be something very special. I'm one of the few i think, who liked Diary of the Dead. But i even think it was the weakest outta the 5.

Haha Alan Van Sprang has been in three Romero "Dead" films counting this one. He's like the new Pilato or Taso...Just not as cool.

I find its better to get less pumped up by a movie nowadays that way you don't set yourself up for disappointment if it doesn't live up to your expectations. I'm remaining indifferent until its release.

Well, I'm getting myself excited. If it's a flopper, so what. Not like it's going to break my heart or anything.

I'm with Flesh Eater on this.
While I know it's true that if you don't get your hopes you you can't be let down, I find that never getting your hopes up at all is just depressing. That's no way to live if you ask me. I'd rather get my hopes up about something I love than expect it to be crap and have negative thoughts toward something I love.
And this is coming from one of the biggest DIARY critics here.

Yepper. I got my hopes up for My Bloody 3-D, and it was a bit of a let down. But life goes on. I can't focus on being neutral on something that I am otherwise excited about. If I'm amped to see it, I'm not going to suppress that emotion for the sake of the film being a turd.

For I'm really looking forward to this. With new movies these days I never ever get my hopes up but It is a Romero flix so it will be good. I loved EVERY zombie movie he has done. I knew MBV 3d was going to suck but I went in thinking hey it is 3d who cares. Now the F13th remake I knew would suck but didn't know it would be that bad. That was worst piece of crap I have seen in a long time. I walked out the first time I saw it and then went back with a friend who hadn't seen it luckily he paid for me ;D. It was just us 2 in there watching it. We ripped apart and it made the movie better but it still sucked. Marcus Nispel & Micheal Bay should stick to making music videos
