My first zombie movie ever. What better movie to start off with than this one. Naked women dancing. Rock & roll. A creepy mortician, and the Tarman.

This is one of the greatest horror comedies of all time. Yet the special effects are absolutely brilliant. I love how the half-bodied female zombie on the slab looks. She is right out of the classic EC comics.

I watched this with commentary a little bit ago. The cast, crew, & "zombie" commentary from the newest DVD. Overall, it was pretty informative & everybody sounded like they had a blast talking about the movie as well as the times they had. The "zombies" were kind of funny but more annoying than anything.
I really want to get the soundtrack on vinyl & cassette. There's a cassette on eBay for like $20. If I had the money, I'd get it. Haha.

I can't believe I've never commented in this thread!
Anyway, I am in agreement with all of you. Totally awesome flick. The zombies are cool, the characters are great, and the music is top notch. A solid 10/10!

ROTLD probably contains my favorite movie soundtrack of all-time. I can listen to it over & over again without tiring of it. The band that contributed "Love Under Will," The Jet Black Berries, recently got back together. They reunited as New Math(their name before they became the JBB in 1984) but later changed their name to The Jet Black Berries once again. They have a different singer but he's pretty good. I REALLY hope they do a new version of "Love Under Will." Love that song. I run a music page for their older stuff on Myspace with full permission from my pal Gary Trainer(founder, songwriter, & bassist). You can listen to it on the page. www.myspace.com/thejetblackberries

I love Suicide's death because when I first saw him in the movie, I figured he'd survive for quite awhile since he was the big tough guy from the group. Boy was I wrong. It was a nice swerve.

I forgot to mention during the commentary that Beverly Randolph(Tina) refers to the Cadaver's penis as a "sprinkler." I've never heard that one before. It had me in stitches. Hahaha.

I'll have to listen to that this weekend.
I've never heard the term "sprinkler" for a wang.
Am I alone in thinking that Tina was kinda cute?

Also, I think Don Calfa is the shit in this movie. I really love the whole cast, but Calfa is so freaking hilarious, his facial expressions, little comments, everything. Smoking a pipe while "breaking out" rigor mortis... priceless.

Don Calfa is my favorite in the movie too. He's just so awesome. For me, he's the Peter Washington of the movie.

Don Calfa rules but I'm more of a Clu Gulager type of guy myself. He is fucking hilarious in Freddy's Revenge as Ken Walsh in the few scenes he's in.
I think Tina is cute too. She has this girl next door vibe going on. Beverly Randolph seems to give off that same vibe in real life too. She seems like a total sweetheart.

I just got my hands on a work print of this. I haven't had the chance to watch it yet, but there is reportedly like 20 extra minutes of footage.
I second that vote for Clu Gulager. Without him, I don't think I'd have enjoyed the Feast movies as much as I did.
