The Stepfather (1987)
Stepfather II: Make Room for Daddy (1989)
Stepfather III (1989)
Finally saw the first flick for the first time last night & thought it was damn great. O'Quinn really stole the show as Jerry & put in a terrific, psychotic, & downright creepy performance.
I got Stepfather II in the mail yesterday so I'll be watching that later. And I have access to Stepfather III(downloaded & burnt it to a disc since it's not out on DVD here) as well so I'll be watching that one soon as too.
A family-values man named Jerry Blake marries widows and divorcées with children in search of the perfect family. As soon as his new family members show signs of being human and not robots who will march unquestioningly to his tune, his dreams of domestic bliss begin to crumble, and he kills them. Then he alters his appearance, assumes a new identity, and skips to another town to begin the deadly ritual all over again. He marries Susan Maine, who sees him as the ideal surrogate father for her teenage daughter Stephanie, and he is soon up to his old tricks when she proves to be too much of a troublesome teen to handle.
Stepfather II: Make Room for Daddy (1989)
The Stepfather escapes an insane asylum and winds up in another town, this time impersonating a marriage counselor. Now he seems to have found the perfect future wife, with a stepson who loves him. However, other people try to get in his way to marry her. They are interfering! One by one the Stepfather eliminates anyone who stands in his way to a perfect family.
Stepfather III (1989)
That psycho stepfather has escaped from the insane asylum and had his face surgically altered. Now he's married again, this time to a woman with a child in a wheelchair. He goes on a killing spree once again.
