In my opinion Dawn remake is better. It is the best dead remake. Night remake is also good. Day 08 and Night 3D are not in the same level but still good compared to most other zombie films.

The NIGHT remake is by far the best. I don't even think it's just my opinion, it's just fact. The DAWN remake is a good movie, but it feels in no way connected with the Romero series. The DAY remake and sequel along with NIGHT 3D are abortions, and that's putting it lightly.

I agree that Dawn remake is not connected to the series, but it's still a good movie. It's just your opinion not a fact, even the imdb rating of Dawn is higher.

IMDb ratings are irrelevant as hell since Commando isn't sitting at number one.
The Dawn remake is really good & is one I enjoy with more viewings but the Night remake gouges its asshole.
I'm sure the Day & Night 3D remakes will be floating in the toilet next to Day 2, House of the Dead, & Zombie 5: Killing Birds. Most zombie movies I've seen are good and/or at least entertaining so I don't see Day '08 & Night 3D being up there with them. I bet the Resident Evil films, which I do enjoy although they aren't the best movies out there, are masterpieces compared to them.

I don't understand why you get on your period every time someone says something you don't like. I plan on seeing them someday anyway but I tend to take the words of credible people(not you) I have similar tastes with(dudes like Tony) about these movies.
Get off my tits son.

Well you're right of course... it is just my opinion. I was obviously being facetious in this situation. That said, I'd be willing to bet most fans of Romero or zombie flicks in general would prefer the NIGHT remake to the DAWN one. And don't get me wrong, the DAWN remake is awesome in it's own right. I watch it pretty often and love it every time. But NIGHT 90 is, in MY opinion, leagues ahead of it in every possible way.

I think the Night remake has some great performances in it, especially from Todd, Towles, & Tallman. Judy Rose & Tom are kind goofy but the performances fit the characters. The Dawn remake doesn't really have any memorable performances aside from CJ's assholism turned into heroism towards the end. It's a fun, entertaining action-filled popcorn flick. The Disturbed songs on the soundtrack are terrible but then again, Disturbed sucks ass.

The Disturbed songs on the soundtrack are terrible but then again, Disturbed sucks ass. I agree with you completely about NIGHT 90. The characters are likable and memorable. The thing about the DAWN remake is that they crammed in WAY too many characters, making them 2 dimensional and forgettable. CJ is actually the only character I really like, with maybe an exception for Andy. I just don't get why they called it a DAWN remake... aside from the mall setting, the two films have absolutely nothing in common. I think it would have been cool if they had kept the original 4 survivors and the mall and put their own twist on THAT aspect. And I give 1,000 amens to saying Disturbed sucks. Hell, make it a million.

I love the cast. I just wish McKee Anderson's Helen would've gotten more screentime. I really think Tony Todd stole the show though despite other great performances.
Same here about CJ. I liked Ving Rhames' character but only because it's Ving Fuckin' Rhames. Steve was a pretty funny dickhead. I also don't understand why they called it Dawn of the Dead aside from name recognition.
Fuck Disturbed! WAA-AHH-AHH-AHH!!

I like it when remakes are different from the original , if it's the same then what's the point?

Every time I hear that fucking stupid song I quite literally get down with the sickness. Me too. It makes me want to shit & puke at the same time. I like it when remakes are different from the original , if it's the same then what's the point? Why not call it by another title if it's going to be quite a bit different then? Name recognition, for the most part depending on title & popularity of the original, will put asses in seats. I guess the Dawn of the Dead remake can take the name since it has the premise of people staying in a mall during a zombie outbreak. I wish a movie would take place in a Big Lots during a zombie outbreak.
